Plenty of traditional pubs, cafes and shops line the river bank with easily accessible mooring spaces to secure your boat. Alternatively, eat along the way by bringing a picnic!
Wildlife
Our boats are electric and quiet, causing less disturbance to wildlife along the river. Bring your binoculars and watch beautiful birds, fish and more in their natural habitat.

Our boat trips are safe and enjoyable for any age. We provide buoyancy aids for all ages and recommend river routes based on the members of your group so everybody enjoys their day.

Thurne
With a set of moorings available and the Lion Inn, the village is something of a paradise for those exploring the Broads by boat. The Weaver’s way footpath also passes through to Great Yarmouth from Cromer so you can moor up and explore on dry land too.
Womack Staithe
Mooring for Ludham Village, about 15min walk to the village shops and pub. Approached by a meander past the wherry trust moorings Hunters yard and spectacular riverside houses.

St Benet's Abbey
1,000 years ago this isolated spot on Norfolk's River Bure was a thriving monastery dominating the area. Today the Norfolk Archaeological Trust owns St Benet's Abbey. You are invited to visit the Abbey and to explore this website for practical information and historical facts.

Hickling
The largest of the Broads, NWT Hickling Broad is a year-round haven for wildlife. It holds a significant percentage of the UK population of common crane as well as important breeding numbers of bittern, marsh harrier bearded tit and Cetti’s warbler. Barn owl is almost guaranteed and you may see kingfisher if you are lucky.
Horsey
Newly restored and reopened for 2019, Horsey Windpump is the youngest and largest windpump to be found in the Norfolk Broads. For those that are able make it to the top, they are rewarded with some of the most spectacular views in the area.

Ranworth
Ranworth contains a wide range of habitats and a fantastic variety of wildlife, all to be seen from 750m of boardwalk. Visit the floating visitor centre and join in their activites for all ages.
Horning
A picturesque waterside broadland village which lines the northern bank of the River Bure, stretching for about a mile, and has many waterside properties (best viewed from a boat). There are waterside pubs, shops, restaurant, tea-rooms, boat trips and other attractions to enjoy.

Hoveton
Hoveton Great Broad is one of the largest yet most secret lakes in The Broads. It's a key part of an internationally-important wetland landscape... created entirely by man! Open from April to October, the Hoveton Great Broad Nature Trail can be reached by boat and there are free moorings for visitors taking a trip down the River Bure. The trail takes from 30 minutes to one hour to go around.
Wroxham
Hotels, pubs, restaurants, shops and the infamous department store, Roys. Wroxham contains many visitor attractions including a riverside park, Miniature Worlds indoor model museum, the Bure Valley steam railway and nearby Hoveton Hall gardens and Wroxham Barns craft centre. Wroxham Broad is home to the Norfolk Broads Yacht Club.
